2nd June 2002. QUEEN ELIZABETH 11, Your Majesty of the United Kingdom, ACTION IN RESPONSE TO EARLY DAY MOTION ON PAN AFRIKAN REPARATIONS On this very day of the 50th anniversary of your ascending to the throne of Queen of the United Kingdom and Head of the British Empire, in continuation of which you now also serve as tile Head of the Commonwealth we of the Black Quest for Justice Campaign (BQJC), supported by all those involved in building cite Pan African Reparations Coalition in Europe and the overwhelming majority of Afrikans and our Friends in solidarity all over the World, address to you and your Government. our long overdue case for Pan Afrikan Reparations. We are also addressing, through your office, all other Heads of State and of Governments as well as other relevant statutory bodies in Europe. Being an Open Letter, copies of this missive will also be sent to some non governmental organisations within and beyond Europe, so that the peoples of the World shall be duly informed of its contents. For, we are putting to you our case for full Restorative Justice for the Crimes against Humanity which are inherent in The Maafa the Holocaust of the genocidal perpetration of racist enslavement as well. as imperialist colonization and neocolonization upon Afrika and tier people throughout our Mother Continent and Diaspora, resulting in the terrorism of not only the institutional but also the systemic racism of White Supremacy globally up till today against all Black peoples. Accordingly, we would like you to initiate consultations for joint action with the other ruling and erstwhile Royal Families and others of Europe who benefited from the Afrikan Holocaust, as well as with the Presidency of the European Union and we Heads of State and Governments of the countries that engaged in the European imperialist scramble for Afrika and the enslavement, colonization and neocolonization of Black peoples globally, so as to respond comprehensively to our demand. You should begin with advising the Prime Minister of your Government to give an official response to the Early Day Motion (EDM) put on 5th May 1993 to the House of Commons by the late Honourable Bernie Grant, MP, which reads as follows: "This House welcomes the Abuja Declaration issued after the First Pan African Conference on Reparations, sponsored by the Organisation of African Unity (OAU), and the Government of Nigeria; notes the historical precedents in Reparations such as the case of German repayment for restitution to the Jews for the enormous tragedy of the Holocaust; calls upon the international community to recognise that the unprecedented moral debt owed to African people has yet to be paid, and urges all those countries which were enriched by enslavement and colonisation to review the case for Reparations, to he paid to Africa and Africans in the Diaspora; acknowledges the continuing painful economic and personal consequences of the exploitation of Africa and Africans in the Diaspora and the racism it has generated, and supports the OA U as it intensifies its efforts to pursue the cause of Reparations." We hereby serve notice that, unless serious measures are taken urgently to act constructively on this Motion by 1st January 2003, we shall feel obliged, thereafter, to proceed with our plans of further action for Restorative Justice by Filing a Class Action Lawsuit for Pan Afrikan Reparations in tile appropriate Courts of the United Kingdom and wherever else necessary as may be deemed Fit by us. You ought to have been informed by Mr. Tony Blair, the current Prime Minister of Your Majesty's Government, that we of the Black Quest for Justice Campaign had addressed a letter, dated 6th March 1998, through him to all heads of Government in Europe, asking for "due recognition and adequate compensation to be given to all Black Victims of the Holocaust Crimes against Humanity that were perpetrated throughout the period of the Nazi Facist regime of Aryan White Supremacist Racism led by the so called Fuehrer Adolf Hitler in Germany " We had expected that, as the holder of the Presidency of the European Union then, the Prime Minister of Your Majesty's Government would have put this request of ours not only to the Governments of Europe but also to those Heads of Government that lie played host to at the so called G8 Summit in May 1998 in Birmingham here in the United Kingdom. As clearly stated in that letter, a copy, of which was re dated 21st May 2000 and sent again as a reminder to Tony Blair, we of the BQJC share the view that "recognition and compensation for the Black Victims of the Nazi terroristic reign of German Fascism will be merely one of the very first steps of the European powers, including those now occupying the homelands of the indigenous peoples of the Americas the Caribbean and Australasia; it certainly will be merely a first little step towards meeting the more thorough going, holislically just and completely meaningful demand for Global Black Reparations to those who have suffered enslavement. colonization, neocolonizalion and other havoc wrecking Crimes against Humanity that have been committed and still are being perpetrated by the monstrous evil of White Supremacist Racism with all its genocidal arsenals of imperialism in order to bloodily enforce the Eurocentralization of the World under the hoodwink of so called Globalization" We see our BQJC demand of yesterday and today as very much fitting this present occasion of the celebration of your Royal Golden Jubilee, the anniversary of the day you officially inherited all that the British Empire represents in the true Peoples' History of Afrika and the rest of the World. Expecting to hear from you soon. Sincerely yours, Cc: Rt. Hon Tony Blair, Prime Minister, Her Majesty's
Government of tile United Kingdom
