... yesterday at Southwark Crown Court he admitted persuading a 14-year-old girl to perform a sex act during a Skype call, and pleaded to three counts of attempting to engage in sexual activity in the presence of a child and one of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.

A further count of making indecent photos of a child and one count of attempting to engage in a sexual activity in the presence of a child will lie on file.

His colleagues discovered three sex tapes on his computer when they raided his home in Streatham, South London.

PC  Leiper has been suspended from duty at the Westminster borough since his arrest in August 2015

He will be sentenced on 3 March 2017.

Judge Joanna Korner QC said she needed "to know whether he is dangerous" and ordered a pre-sentence report.
