BLACK UNITY WEEK 2006

TRAFALGAR SQUARE



Starts: Friday 27 January

Tickets: Available from London Transport

Time: 9:00pm to 12:00pm every night

Venue: Meet top deck of London Buses

Routes: All routes to and from Trafalgar Square





Do you know somebody who does not deserve to be in prison ?


Do you know somebody in a Mental Hospital for no reason?


Do you know somebody experiencing Racism at work?


Do you know of a project sabotaged by White Supremacy?


Do you know of a school that treats Black children unfairly?


Do you know a way to help Black people?






Let's hear what you have to say!

More details about the event at any good Black bookshop or website.



The reason for this totally new and unusual meeting format is to create maximum flexibilty and almost unlimited networking opportunities.

Judging by the response so far we are expecting good attendance at BLACK UNITY WEEK 2006.

It is possible that there might not be enough room at the bus stops and on the top decks of the buses to have discussions about Black Unity.

This may result in an unauthorised gathering of Black people in Trafalgar Square under Nelson's column.

We would like to make sure that the authorites do not mistake Black people having conversations about Black Unity for a riot or terrorist activity.

We would also like to minimise contact, argument and confusion with White Supremacist trouble makers.


If possible please bring a white flag, white mask, white hat or paint your face white to ward off the White Supremacists.

A white umbrella will be very useful at BLACK UNITY WEEK 2006 as a kind of flag and in case of rain.
