Opinion: The Myth of the Post-Mecca Malcolm X
“When I returned… I kept being asked the question by some reporters, “We heard you changed.”.... I smiled and all. But I would say to myself ... How do you expect us to change when the causes that made us as we are have not been removed?” - Malcolm X

I saw a then and now documentary with Muhammad Ali where now, he says, the devil is not a colour it's the mind. This was to counteract his 'white people are the devil' views he voiced back then acknowledging there are black devils too. He went on to say if you have the same view of life at 60 as you did at 30, you've just gone and wasted 30 years of your life.

Many people (black and white) seem to think pro black means anti white. This could not be further from the truth. Pro black for me is Africa and Africans uniting to stand on their own two feet as opposed to using assimilation and multiculturalism as our get out of jail card. The sad reality is even if racism was wiped out, tribalism will still mean Africa will always be worth less than the sum of its individual parts.
