The initiative focuses on transforming secondary education in 5 key London boroughs - Hackney, Haringey, Islington, Lambeth and Southwark - by creating bespoke individual solutions for the schools that face the biggest challenges, thereby providing a better deal for London. The Challenge will involve targeted work with heads and middle leaders (through the London Leadership Strategy), teachers and schools.



The Challenge has committed to piloting a new package to raise the attainment of African British pupils. As part of that process, Ligali was present at a community consultation event where several representatives from various related organisations contributed to a forum focused on the parental needs of African British pupils.
