Please note that all verbal and written correspondence to and from Ligali regarding issues directly or indirectly affecting or relating to the African British community may be placed in the public domain via our website and published documentation.

Ligali's responsibility and primary loyalty lies with our community at all times. All decisions to publicly publish correspondence will be subject to review by Ligali's Head Policy Advisor.

EXCEPTIONS

Any correspondence of a particularly sensitive or personal nature will not be published unless it is deemed productive to do so. As such, anything that may potentially jeopardise on-going negotiations with Ligali and any external body will not be published until or if, it is deemed right and appropriate to do so.
LETTERS FROM THE PUBLIC

Personal letters from the public with general queries and comments will also not be made public unless they are letters of complaints about specific social issues. In this case, we occasionally make these letters available to the institution, company or organisation being complained about as 'evidence'. Members of the public have the right to state whether they are content with their letters of complaint being used for this purpose.
